Rain drops keep falling on my head!.....

I haven't posted for a bit so I decided today would be a good day to do that! It is so pretty outside!
This last week it had rained the whole time and all I wanted to do was sleep! I really though i was going to need a ark before long! My garden is still there and growing but I did lose a little bit of lettuce and one spot of purple cabbage :(  
All that rain kinda washed the little seedlings away! Everything else seems to be okay! I was worried all my hard work was going to go down the drain! We had some mighty big storms with ALOT of rain! Today is so pretty and the veggies and herbs seem to be very happy about that! although the weeds will be happy too and I alas will not be! I do not like weeding or weeds, those little nasty buggers wont stay out of my garden lol...so this weekend I will have to take care of them unless we get more rain (i heard it might this weekend but I sure hope its just a rumor!)
We did not get much of my fathers garden planted so we missed some important rain for them but what we did get in the ground he has seen some growth! Radishes are popping out of the ground! I do not like radishes so I did not plant any.
My herbs are looking very small! So cute! I will have to post pictures later this week! Rose Mary and tarragon Have not popped out of the ground and I cant remember what other herb i planted but it hasn't either, I have to go back thru my photos to see what I'm missing! The stakes I put in there had faded words on them already so I have to go remark them!
My garlic made a appearance finally, Celery, Habanero's and okra has not nor has my Anaheim's! Everything else is growing really well! I cant wait to show you it all!

Growing Crazy!!

Oh boy! I did it now!!!
Well We got our strawberries and bell peppers planted yesterday. This morning I got up right after City Boy left for work and pulled some weeds and took some pictures.  I am done planting my garden this year!!
Other than pulling weeds, harvesting and watering it all, I am done!
I covered my strawberries with bird netting so maybe I will get some this year! (I hope).
I went to my parents house today to tilling their garden spot, my father had knee surgery about a week ago and had already bought stuff for the garden but didn't get them in the ground in time......so from 9 am to 5:45pm we spent outside tilling  the ground.....We did stop from 12 to 3:30 to do some other stuff and eat lunch.
I found huge rocks in the spot, a Realtor for sale sign, glass, garage door parts and a lot of other stuff!
I am tired and sore lol!
Heres a funny for the day!
My father rode mini city girl and I in his little trailer being pulled by his lawn mower, Mini City Girl was having so much fun in till he dumped us out of it. he turned to quickly and I couldn't lean quickly to balance out the trailer so over we went! ....My whole side hurts! My elbow and thigh really hurts! Mini City Girl was just fine! She landed on me!! How come there was not something soft for me to land on?

Yesterday I started to see a lot of greens popping out of the ground!!
I have my peas, potatoes, onions, carrots and cucumbers. I took some pictures yesterday of my garden. Im very excited to watch them all grow!
We put up out rabbit fencing so some critters wont get in. Well we still have one side to fence but that will happen this weekend!
I love being able to see what I have seeded starting to grow! Life is amazing! I also started to see bumble bees around my garden! I'm glad to see them already! We will also be getting our strawberries and bell peppers this weekend.

Sun, Dirt and Plants......Oh My!!

Last weekend we planted some of our plants. Then I got sick....Spent all day Wednesday asleep!
Today we finished our planting other than strawberries and bell peppers. Those will come next weekend!
